Problem: The following error occured while attempting to map an existing cairs database-Runtime Error 53-file not found (name of file in cairs database).
Cause: The currently mapped database is invalid or no longer exist in that location. Cairs will continue to map at that location unless it has been reset or mapped to a different location.
Solution: Locate the UC32.ini file which is usually found in the C:\Unique\Settings and then delete the datapath or input the correct address of the database which is located under "[cairs-32] datapath= c://cairs database location"
After this has been modified and saved, open up cairs and it will link to the correct datapath you typed in or it will have a window that prompts to select a new database path. If you need any assistance or have any questions on this please contact Unique Communications.
